The second consortium meeting was then organized October 6-9 Riga, Latvia.
During the third APRIORI project meeting held in Riga, project partners reviewed the overall progress of the project and consolidated the methodological direction of the work, with particular emphasis on WP2 and the resilience assessment tool. The meeting served as a key milestone for aligning the analytical framework with the practical requirements emerging from the case studies and stakeholder interactions.
The meeting confirmed the selection and continued relevance of the critical infrastructure case studies, in Latvia and Slovakia and Moldova. These case studies form the empirical basis for validating the resilience assessment methodology developed under WP2. Based on experience gained from ongoing analyses and feedback from infrastructure representatives, the consortium agreed to refine the methodological approach toward a more system-oriented and conceptually consistent framework, suitable for application across different infrastructure types.
The meeting also reinforced coordination among work packages, ensuring that technological developments from WP3 and WP4 can be reflected within the WP2 assessment framework where relevant. This alignment supports the role of WP2 as a unifying methodological layer within the project, linking technological innovation with system-level resilience evaluation.
Overall, the Riga meeting represented a consolidation phase for the project, providing clear direction for the finalisation of case studies, refinement of the resilience assessment tool, and preparation of Milestone 3 and subsequent project deliverables.
After the meeting, minutes were prepared and circulated among the partners.
